What we collect

When you create an account we collect your name, email, company name, and usage data needed to operate the service (proposals, clients, signatures, and billing). When clients view or sign proposals we may record IP address and timestamp for audit purposes.

How we use it

We use your information to provide QuoteLane, send transactional emails (proposal delivery, follow-ups, account notices), improve the product, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.

Payments

Deposit and invoice payments are collected directly by you through your own PayPal, Stripe Payment Links, or Venmo — QuoteLane does not hold client funds or card data for proposal payments.

Data retention

Your proposals and clients remain in your account while it is active. You may export PDFs and delete data from within the app. Contact support to request account deletion.
